Trypethelium epileucodes Nyl.

Trypethelium virgineum Müll.Arg., Rep. Australas. Assoc. Advancem. Sci. 1895: 461 (1895). T: Qld, locality unknown, C.Knight 351; holo: G n.v.

  Thallus green to yellowish, smooth to somewhat bullate. Ascomata largely immersed in the pseudostromata. Pseudostromata not raised, inconspicuous. Hamathecium not inspersed. Ascospores 7–9-septate, 30–40 × 8–10 μm.
CHEMISTRY: Thallus and pseudostromata UV–, K–; no substances detected.
  Occurs in northern N.T. and north-eastern Qld. Palaeotropical, in lowland to montane forests.
