Origin: Originating from Green Cape, Eden area, NSW. This variation was chosen from various forms in the area. The name 'Little Pal' was chosen to represent this small form of Banksia paludosa as an abbreviation of its species name.

Distinctive Characters and Diagnosis: Banksia paludosa is a low spreading shrub 0.5-1.5m in diameter with small flowers 5-10cm long x 3-4cms in diameter. Banksia 'Little Pal' is a dwarf or low-growing selection with larger flowers.

Habit/Description: Moderately dense, small shrub

Flower Colour: Buff yellow

Flower Size: 150mm long x 60mm diameter

Flowering time: Feb-June
