General Manager

Executive Level 2
Position Number: 12150
Salary range $101,991 - $118,029

This position is located within the Australian National Botanic Gardens. The Gardens maintains a scientific collection of native plants which are displayed for the enjoyment and education of visitors and are used for research into plant classification, conservation and biology.

The General Manager will be required to direct and control the day-to-day operations of the Gardens to ensure a high standard of service delivery to visitors and the scientific community as well as numerous partners and stakeholders. In order to meet this requirement, the General Manager will require strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to manage financial and human resources, lead change and to develop and maintain productive relationships with external organisations.
