These courses are suitable for those who are undertaking or wish to undertake practical community and threatened plant conservation projects including:

Community volunteers, government staff, community support staff, land managers, industry environmental officers, botanic gardens staff

These projects are assisted by the New South Wales Government through its Environmental Trust, and supported by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, Council of Heads of Australian Botanic Gardens, Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, Wollongong Botanic Gardens, Wollongong City Bushcare and Wollongong City Council.

Demystifying Threatened Plant Conservation

Demystifying the legal process; how to list threatened plant, communities, populations and critical habitat; recovery planning; the role of community groups; how to get involved.
