Lucid Workshop

This course will provide an introduction to building interactive identification tools using the Lucid3 suite of programs. It will cover choosing and phrasing characters and states, scoring the key and attaching multimedia. At the end of the session users will have all the skills necessary to build and deploy (on the web or by CD) Lucid3 keys. Participants will gain more from the course if they are able to bring along some data on a taxonomic group of interest, including descriptions and images (both of characters and taxa, if possible) – it will then be possible to take away at the end of the day a small working key.
