 Plant Diversity in the Tropics

13-15 November 2006
Plant Diversity in the Tropics will explore a variety of themes including the growing link between modern plant systematics and the conservation of rare and threatened species. 2006 is also the 400th anniversary of first Dutch contact with Australia. The conference will explore the Dutch contribution to Australasian systematic botany.
NOTE: Workshop and masterclass 'Molecular tools in plant systematics', will be held on the 16th November following the conference.

1999 Conference and Annual General Meeting The 1999 ASBS National Conference and Annual General Meeting will be
held in conjunction with the Dampier 300 Conference to be held in Perth,
Western Australia from the 6th to the 10th of December, 1999. Further details of the Dampier 300 conference can be found here.
1998 Conference and Annual General Meeting The 1998 ASBS National Conference and Annual General Meeting will be
held in conjunction with the Monocots II Second International Conference
on the Comparitive Biology of the Monocotyledons and Third Symposium on
Grass Systematics and Evolution in Sydney, New South Wales from the 27th
of September to the 2nd of October, 1998. The 20th Annual General Meeting of ASBS will be held on the 1st of October
in conjunction with this meeting.

1997 Conference and Annual General Meeting The 1997 ASBS National Conference was held from the 28th of September
to the 3rd of October, in Adelaide, South Australia. The Conference was
co-hosted with the Society of Australian Systematic Biologists and was
associated with the Australasian Mycological Society. The 19th Annual General Meeting of ASBS was held on the 1st of October
in conjunction with this meeting.

Commemerative Conference, Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne from the 22-28
