Council of Heads of Australasian Herbaria
Leader of an expedition from South Australia to Western Australia in 1840-1841. Collections were made from the lower Flinders Range, Eyre Peninsula and across the Great Australian Bight to Albany. At least some of these specimens are now in MEL, although Maiden (1908c) reported that the earlier collections were lost.
