Born in Parramatta, NSW on 12 November 1964.
Her science degree was obtained at the University of Sydney.
She joined the staff of the
National Herbarium of NSW as a Research Assistant in connection with
the eucalypt revision in January 1987. In October 1988 she was promoted
to the position of Technical Officer (Scientific).
