School Holiday Program 3-6 October

Do you know your Gums?

 

Eucalyptus by Gum

Make your own magic gum trees, discover who lives there and investigate the bark by taking a closer look using hand lenses. For3 – 6 year olds (children must be accompanied by an adult).

11am -12pm

Meet at the Eucalypt lawn pavilion.

 

Grow your Own

Discover the differences between seed capsules, leaves and bark while looking at the Eucalypts in the Gardens. Learn how to collect seed, sow your own seed and pot on a plant to take home. For7 – 12 year olds.

1pm – 2pm

Meet at the Banks Building.

 

 

Programs run Monday – Friday. 2 - 6 October.

Cost: $5.00 per child.

We encourage students to bring a minimal waste recess and lunch pack … They can feed our worm farm and use our simple recycling system - demonstrating whats achievable at school and at home.
