Pteridophytes of Jervis Bay and Beecroft Penninsula
There are c. 41 pteridophytes recorded from Jervis Bay (including Booderee National Park) and Beecroft Penninsula. The following table lists the species of ferns and fern allies known to occur in the area based on specimens in the Australian National Herbarium, published reports, and field observations. This is part of the catchment area for the Public Reference Herbarium (PRH) of the ANBG.
The species are atranged in genera and families and are flagged for their occurrence and additonal columns indicate whether a specimen is present in the Public Reference Herbaria at the ANBG or Jervis Bay or whether additional herbarium specimens are needed. The table will be updated as additional species are recorded for the region and as new specimens are inserted into the PRH.
JBT = occurs in the Jervis Bay area; PRH = specimens in the Canberra Public Reference Herbarium; JBH = Jervis Bay Reference Herbarium at Booderee; Need = specimens needed for Public Reference Herbarium.
