Limited Public Access to the Gardens

The Australian National Botanic Gardens will be closed to the public today, from 2:00 pm Tuesday 21 January 2003 as a result of fire emergencies in the Australian Capital Territory.

On Wednesday 22, Thursday 23 and Friday 24 January, the Gardens will close at 5:00pm, unless weather conditions deteriorate. Guided Twilight Walks scheduled for Wednesday evening will not take place this week.

Access to the full Gardens during the course of the week, will be subject to weather conditions and will be assessed on a daily basis.
