How does your Garden Grow

Gardens’ history comes to life

The Friends of the Australian National Botanic Gardens will sponsor a public talk about the history of the Australian National Botanic Gardens as part of the Gardens’ autumn program of events.

Murray Fagg, a 36 year veteran staff member of the Gardens, will tell the fascinating story of how the Gardens’ landscape was transformed from dairy pastures into the world’s finest collection of Australian plants and a renowned scientific institution.

Don’t miss the chance to hear how a mere idea of the 1930s was realised.

Murray Fagg will be available to answer questions and for intereview.
