Fascination with fungi

Mushrooms, Stinkhorns, Cannonball fungi and more…

The astonishing world of the fungal kingdom is about to be revealed. The Australian National Botanic Gardens will host a nine-week series of talks and two workshops on fungi facts as part of its autumn program of events.

Heino Lepp, honorary scientific associate at the Australian National Herbarium, will show that there is more to mushrooms than meets the eye.

In his popular lecture series, he will cover topics ranging from fungal lifestyles and ecology to fungi and people, and spend some time looking at fungi in the Gardens.

Join Heino’s one-day workshops to discover how to recognise the immense range of mushrooms of the Canberra region and learn the steps to identify them.
