Visit the Gardens and discover Australia's diverse landscapes and unique plants. From sub-tropical rainforests to the Red Centre desert, students can engage with a collection of more than one third of Australian plants.

Discover, explore and challenge your student’s thinking on the vital role plants play in environmental biodiversity and human wellbeing. Explore the connections between people, plants and animals through inquiry-based exploration and hands-on learning experiences. Our programs develop students' skills as active and informed environmental citizens and are linked to the Australian National Curriculum

Refresh and recharge your students with a range of outdoor, interactive, Australian Curriculum linked learning programs or relax on our shady lawns for lunch in the centre of the nation’s capital.

Programs are available for pre-school through to tertiary students. We cater for students with special needs or disabilities. The Gardens is wheel-chair accessible.
