Children will explore story and collages inspired by Jeannie Baker’s books ‘Window’ and ‘Belonging’, stories of growth and the world around us , then develop one of their own creations using plant material collected from the Gardens.

Ages 5 – 9 accompanied by parent.

Design a Garden Community | 10am – 12noon

Explore our natural environment with fun and engaging cartooning workshops lead by local illustrator - Andrew Hore.  Workshop groups will move amongst the Gardens and discover the unique qualities of the rain forest, rock garden and red centre gardens.

Ages 7 – 13yrs (parents also welcome to participate).
Cost per child $25 plus online booking fee (includes morning tea)

Interpret the fascinating world of Australian fauna in this challenging cartoon illustration workshop lead by local illustrator - Andrew Hore.  Participants will work with their creative ideas to develop a poster, cartoon strip or other story illustration.

Ages: 12+
