Years: Preschool – Grade Two
Students: 25 per group, 2 groups are able to run concurrently
Minimum cost per one hour session: $75.00
Duration: 30 minutes
Cost: $5 for two 30 minute classes with a short break in between
Facilitated Day Program: Choose two options from the Early Years Programs
Teacher or parent helper / student ratio: 1: 8

Connect the Australian animals to their unique habitats
Where do your favourite creatures live? Children explore creatures big and small and their different habitats of the Gardens. Discover what makes the habitat successful for our Aussie animals to make it a home.
The Australian Curriculum – Science Links
Living Things: There are a variety of living things that have similarities and differences. They have similar needs for shelter and food. Explore ways they interact with their environment and each other.
Growth and change: Living things grow and change, with offspring similar to parents
Nature of science and everyday science: Scientists explore the world around them, ask questions, solve problems and share information. Science is used in everyday life including caring for the local environment.
The daily environment: Explore ways the environment influences the daily lives of students.
Earth's resources: Discuss Earth’s resources, including water, and the ways they are used
