Explore the effects of habitat loss and past land management practices
Connect man made and natural activities to the health of a river system

Dig in and build your own river. Investigate erosion and deposition by adding rocks, fallen trees, plants and snags. Investigate the impact of erosion and human activity on a healthy river system. Discuss habitat loss, past land management practices and current Landcare practices and their affects on Australia’s river systems.
