Australian National Botanic Gardens

The ANBG Library collection comprises over 10,000 books, 400 journal titles, and 5,000 maps and various CDROMs and audiovisual materials.

This library has major collections on the taxonomy, botany and horticulture of Australian plants. There are significant collections of international publications on orchids and cryptogams.

Other subject areas include ecology and conservation of Australian flora, especially endangered plant species, biodiversity, and the Australian environment.

The ANBG Library also provides library services to the Australian Biological Resources Study, and maintains a collection of zoological publications relating to Australian fauna.
