Quandong
Large shrub or small semi-parasitic tree to 6 m with pendulous branches. Small greenish flowers are followed by large, globular, shiny red fruits to 2.5 cm diameter.

Distribution: WA, NT, Qld, NSW, SA.

Cultivation: The fruit is said to have commercial potential for growing in arid areas. Plants are reported to produce fruit in four years. Grasses have been used as host plants. .
