Inflorescence positioned in or arising from leaf axils (e.g. Aotus genistoides, Cullen leucanthum).


Cauliflorous or ramiflorous

Inflorescence borne on stem or trunk (e.g. Leptosema chambersii).

Leaf opposed

The inflorescence is opposite a leaf axil (e.g. Muelleranthus stipularis, Tephrosia brachyodon).
