I currently have three main roles in the Centre. As the Curation Coordinator I manage specimen logistics throughout the Herbarium, ensuring that incoming specimens, including vouchers for living collections in the Australian National Botanic Garden, are correctly processed, identified, mounted and incorporated into the main collection. I also provide support and supervision to the Volunteer Mounting Program and Loans and Exchange area.

I am part of the Australian Plant Census team with my main task being entering and updating nomenclatural data in the Australian Plant Name Index (APNI).

As the coordinator of the Student’s Volunteer Botanical Internship Program I plan and run the program, liaising with staff and external collaborators to provide lectures, training, field trips and hands on work experience in the Australian National Herbarium for a group of students every summer.
