Plant research

The primary research role of the Australian National Botanic Gardens is through the Centre for Australian National Biodiversity Research (CANBR), jointly managed with CSIRO Plant Industry. The Australian National Herbarium is part of the CANBR. In the past the Gardens had a horticultural research unit, and some archival reports from this unit are included.
