| Thallus off-white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata black, inconspicuous, thin, initially immersed, becoming semi-immersed to sessile, with a thin thalline margin, curved and sinuous, often branched, occasionally clustered, sulcate, 1–3 (–4) mm long, 0.05–0.15 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple laterally carbonised. Hymenium 50–100 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, elongate-ellipsoidal, transversely 6–8-locular, 20–35 ×
5–7 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Chemistry: No lichen compounds detected. |
