| Thallus effuse, thin, pale creamish grey. Soredia and isidia absent. Apothecia numerous, disciform, scattered or clustered, very pale grey, with margins inrolled on immature apothecia, 0.3–0.5 (–0.6) mm diam.; disc pale orange, epruinose. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly biseriate, ovate to ellipsoidal, 24–38 (–48) × (10–) 14–21 (–24) µm. CHEMISTRY: Thallus K–, KC–, C–, Pd–; no lichen compounds detected. | ||
| An uncommon, corticolous species found mainly in cool-temperate rainforest in N.S.W. and Tas.; also in New Zealand, Argentina and Chile. | ||
