  ThalThallus off-white, smooth, somewhat glossy. Ascomata numerous, semi-immersed to sessile, straight, curved or sinuous, simple, rarely branched, sulcate, the grooves filled with whitish thalline material, 1–3 (–4) mm long, 0.2–0.5 mm wide. Proper exciple laterally to almost completely carbonised. Hymenium 150–175 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 1 per ascus, muriform, 94–130 × 25–32 µm, I+ blue.
CHEMISTRY: No lichen compound detected.
     
  An uncommon, corticolous species in eastern Qld; also in Brazil, Costa Rica and Kenya.
