  Thallus pale fawn. Ascomata off-white, conspicuous, numerous, scattered, sessile, slightly sulcate, curved or sinuous, often branched, 1–5 (–8) mm long, 0.4–0.6 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple reddish brown, entire, occasionally poorly defined. Hymenium 150–180 µm thick. Ascospores 8 per ascus, hyaline to pale brown, 10–17 × 2–4-locular, 50–75 × 9–12 (–18) µm.
CHEMISTRY: Stictic acid (major), constictic acid (minor).
     
  Occurs in eastern Qld and north-eastern N.S.W.; also in Central and South America.
