  Thallus off-white to pale greyish white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata inconspicuous, numerous, scattered, immersed to subsessile, becoming open, with a thin thalline margin, straight or curved, sometimes branched, 0.5–1.0 (–1.5) mm long, 0.1–0.2 mm wide. Disc black, glossy. Hymenium 100–125 µm thick. Ascospores 8 per ascus, submuriform to muriform, 7–10 × 2–4-locular, 30–45 × 10–15 µm.
CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected.
  An uncommon, corticolous species in eastern N.S.W. and Vic.; also on Norfolk Island.
